Have you often heard it said that you’re “too sensitive”? Do you cry easily, are you quickly overwhelmed by moods, emotions or injustices? Does noise, light or conflict bother you more than the average person? Do you ask yourself 1,000 questions a minute, feel everything intensely and exhaust yourself trying to “do the right thing”?

What if you were simply hypersensitive… and that this particularity was in reality an unrecognized strength, poorly accompanied?

What is hypersensitivity?

Far from being a pathology, hypersensitivity is a neurophysiological characteristic that affects around 20% of the population. Hypersensitive people have a nervous system that is more reactive to sensory, emotional and environmental stimuli. They perceive subtleties more finely, feel deeply… and tire more quickly.

It’s as if their inner antenna is picking up everything, all the time – and often too loudly.

Neuroscience now shows that this emotional intensity is linked to amplified activation of certain brain areas (amygdala, insula, prefrontal cortex), responsible for perception, empathy and sensory information processing.

Why is it so difficult?

It’s not hypersensitivity per se that’s the problem. It’s the lack of understanding, the isolation, the rejection, the chronic overload. The hypersensitive person often learns to “adapt”, to “armor up”, to “do as everyone else does”… by repressing what he or she deeply is.

The result: anxiety, fatigue, sleep disorders, feelings of being out of sync, digestive or weight disorders, hyperemotivity, even burnout.

But the good news is that you can learn to tame your hypersensitivity… and turn it into a real superpower.

How can we support hypersensitivity in a holistic way?

At Blossom Therapies in Pully, I’m committed to providing a gentle, respectful and safe space for hypersensitive people – children, teenagers, adults – to reconnect with themselves, calm their nervous system and deploy their resources.

Here’s how I work with you:

Kinesiology: decoding the body’s language

Through muscle testing, we identify deep-rooted stresses, unconscious memories, unexpressed emotions or limiting beliefs that create overload and discomfort. Gentle techniques (acupressure points, movements, energy balancing) help restore harmony between body, mind and emotions.

👉 Ideal for: calming hyperactivated states, regaining a sense of groundedness, getting to know oneself better.

Hypnosis: reprogramming the unconscious mind

Therapeutic hypnosis provides access to the unconscious, where our automatisms, patterns and wounds are stored. It provides a safe space for transforming beliefs, embracing emotions and regaining a sense of inner security.

👉 Ideal for: self-confidence, self-esteem, emotional management, childhood traumas.

Primitive reflexes: laying the neurological foundations

In children (and sometimes adults), unintegrated primitive reflexes can accentuate manifestations of hypersensitivity (hyperreactivity, anxiety, attention disorders…). Integrating them through movement helps to better regulate emotions and calm the nervous system.

👉 Ideal for: hypersensitive or ADHD children, sensory disorders and sleep disorders.

Other integrated tools to suit your needs:

  • PSYCH-K®: transforming limiting beliefs

  • ByeByeAllergies®: rebalancing the immune and emotional systems

  • Parental guidance to better understand your child’s sensitivity

What if you turned your hypersensitivity into a strength?

When properly accompanied, hypersensitivity becomes an incredible inner compass. It guides you towards what’s right, what’s alive, what makes you tick. It opens the way to keen perception, powerful intuition and an uncommon capacity for empathy.

It’s not a question of “correcting” who you are, but of finally being able to be yourself, in all your richness.

I welcome you with kindness and sensitivity to the Blossom Therapies practice in Pully, or by videoconference as required.
